Refund policy

Last updated: 29 August 2026

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made from Pawfect Litter.

Change-of-mind returns

Because cat litter and certain other products we sell are hygiene-related products, we do not accept returns or provide refunds simply because you change your mind, select the wrong product or your cat does not prefer a particular litter.

This change-of-mind policy does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect products

Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product arrives damaged, is faulty, is materially different from its description, is not fit for its disclosed purpose, or is different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at meow@pawfectlitter.com.au.

Depending on the circumstances and the requirements of the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.

Although contacting us within 30 days will usually help us investigate and resolve delivery-related issues promptly, this requested timeframe does not remove or limit any rights that continue to apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

How to report a problem

Please email meow@pawfectlitter.com.au and include:

  • your name and order number;
  • a description of the problem;
  • photographs of the product, packaging or damage where reasonably possible; and
  • the remedy you are requesting.

We may request reasonable evidence of purchase or further information needed to assess the issue.

Returning a product

Please contact us before returning a product so we can provide the appropriate return or disposal instructions. Products returned without contacting us first may be difficult to identify or process.

If a product fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, we will cover reasonable return costs where required by the Australian Consumer Law. We may also arrange another practical solution where returning the product is not reasonably necessary.

You do not need to retain or return a faulty product in its original packaging to exercise rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method unless another method is agreed with you.

We aim to process approved refunds within 10 business days. Your bank, card provider or payment service may require additional time to display the refund in your account.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we confirmed that your refund was processed, please contact us at meow@pawfectlitter.com.au.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
