Traditional clay versus Bentonite
Traditional non-clumping clay is cheap and familiar, but the whole tray generally needs replacing every few days because wet litter cannot be removed as a clump.
Bentonite is still clay, but it swells around moisture and forms scoopable clumps. That means you remove the waste rather than throwing out the entire tray. We do not stock non-clumping clay because the clumping version is usually easier to manage week to week.

There is no honest universal weekly figure. Cat count, tray size, fill depth and scooping frequency all change consumption. The most accurate method is to run one measured bag through your own tray and record how long it lasts.
